Trump threatened to unleash \u00abhell\u00bb on Iran by attacking Iranian infrastructures next Tuesday, which is the deadline he set for the Islamic Republic to unblock the Strait of Hormuz, a maritime route through which about 20% of the world\u2019s traded oil and gas transits.<\/p>\n

Trump set 8:00 PM (Washington time) on April 6 as the deadline for Iran to reopen this crucial maritime route for crude oil exports from countries like Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, and Iraq.<\/p>\n

The disruption of vessel flow through Hormuz has caused a severe spike in oil prices, turning the crisis into a direct geopolitical and economic headache for the U.S. Consequently, the far-right leader has ordered the deployment of thousands of troops to the Persian Gulf to prepare for a potential ground invasion aimed at taking control of the strait.<\/p>\n

\u201cDo you remember when I gave Iran ten days to reach an agreement or open the Strait of Hormuz? Time is running out: there are 48 hours left for hell to be unleashed upon them. Glory to God!\u201d he stated on Saturday on his social media platform.<\/p>\n

Iran Will Not Succumb to Trump\u2019s Pressure<\/span><\/h3>\n

The Iranian military leadership rejected Trump\u2019s new threats <\/a>to destroy the nation\u2019s vital infrastructure if it does not agree to a deal to open the Strait of Hormuz, reaffirming that they will not accept external conditions to change their stance on the conflict.<\/p>\n

General Ali Abdollahi Aliabadi, in a statement from the Central Command Headquarters Khatam al-Anbia, characterized the ultimatum as \u00aban impotent, nervous, unbalanced, and foolish act.\u00bb <\/p>\n

From Tehran, officials maintain that any negotiations can only occur under conditions different from those proposed by Washington, considering terms that do not involve direct pressure.<\/p>\n

This Monday, Iran\u2019s Deputy Foreign Minister for Legal and International Affairs, Kazem Qaribabadi, stated that the use of force against Iran\u2019s territorial integrity constitutes a blatant violation of Article 2(4) of the United Nations Charter (absolute prohibition on the threat or use of force) and is considered an act of aggression according to the UN General Assembly Resolution 3314.<\/p>\n

He indicated that Trump\u2019s threat to attack power plants, bridges, and other civilian infrastructures constitutes a war crime according to Article 8(2)(b) of the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court (ICC) and the Geneva Protocol I of 1977 (Article 52), reported HispanTV.<\/a><\/p>\n
