Presidential candidate Jeannette Jara announced that she will be taking legal action regarding the distribution of a false audio clip featuring her voice, created using Artificial Intelligence, which has gained significant traction on social media in recent weeks.
«There is an AI-generated audio where, supposedly, I mistreat people and claim I will take advantage of them. That is completely false. It was made to deceive,» stated the La Moneda hopeful from the Biobío Region, where she had a busy schedule today.
«I will initiate legal proceedings because I find it serious the game certain political sectors are falling into,» Jeannette Jara declared, emphasizing that such campaigns aim to instill fear and confuse the public.
In that regard, she mentioned that there is a second audio circulating, inaccurately claiming her intention to shut down salmon farms. This file is reportedly being disseminated by local radio stations, further escalating the seriousness of the case.
